Nicole Scherzinger is still channeling her beloved Sunset Blvd. character, Norma Desmond. The superstar emerged in New York City this Tuesday in three different looks that nodded to Norma, the tragic, glamorous, forgotten Hollywood icon hungry for a comeback.
One look, which she wore for an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, resembled the black slip dress she wore onstage for many months to play Norma. The ensemble consisted of a cropped top and pencil skirt layered over a transparent black mesh top. Scherzinger wore it with glossy black pumps and dangly silver earrings.
She debuted another dark look on the streets of Manhattan. This one was an asymmetrical black maxi dress that looked like a deconstructed suit. It featured thing gray pinstripes all over, and a silver buckle at the waist that emphasized a high leg slit. The actor accessorized with pointy black pumps, gold jewelry, dramatic hair waves, and a glossy, blood-red lip.
Her third outfit—which simply screamed Hollywood—was a hot-pink suit composed of a sleek long blazer, a slouchy turtleneck top, and ultra high-waisted trousers. Scherzinger wore it with champagne-colored platforms, extra-large sunglasses in sky-blue ombre, silver hoops, and a long diamond necklace.
Scherzinger shares Norma’s glamour and femme fatale flair, but she’s certainly not forgotten. The former Pussycat Dolls frontrunner ended her Broadway run for Sunset Blvd. earlier this month, after a historic run that included her winning her first Tony Award.
Days after stepping off the theater stage, Scherzinger jumped back onto the music stage to perform at Dream Fest 2025 at Sea Breeze in Baku, Azerbaijan. There, she sang several of the Pussycat Dolls’s classic hits, including “Don’t Cha,” “Buttons,” and “Hush, Hush.”
