The award-winning actress surprised fans with a blast from the past after sharing a rare throwback video that quickly captured the public’s attention, including a close friend and fellow A-lister, Naomi Watts.
The 58-year-old beauty has a charmingly unexpected way of celebrating Friday with a nostalgic touch.
In her latest Instagram post, Kidman shared a video that appears to be from the ‘90s, judging by her signature voluminous strawberry blonde curls.
“Flashback Friday,” she wrote alongside the short clip, which shows her striking poses during a rooftop photoshoot.

Kidman and the King Kong star share a decades-long friendship after they first met in the early 1980s, before their Hollywood fame.
During the actress’ AFI Life Achievement Ceremony, Watts talked about their friendship and revealed the unexpected yet charming way she met her when they were “15-ish.”
“We dreamed the same dreams, pretty much laying the road map to where we are now here in Los Angeles, decades deep into our friendship,” she told the audience, as reported by Women’s Weekly, adding, “So, we met in a waiting room for a casting call.”
Despite the hours of “awkward standing” in the waiting room during the audition, she got comfortable around Kidman.
“But soon enough, Nic and I got comfy. We started chatting. We covered everything – what movies we loved, what friends we had in common, our parents, schools, parties, boyfriends, teenage stuff, you know?” the Infinite Storm star shared as she talked about how her friend “has always been the most generous person.”
