Sunday Rose Kidman Urban doesn’t have to travel far from home to snag a great piece of clothing.
As the 17-year-old daughter of one of the most renowned actresses and trendsetters (yes, that’d be Nicole Kidman), the up-and-coming model says her mom’s closet is filled with endless outfit choices.
In a new interview with NYLON published on Aug. 6, Sunday Rose admitted that it’s “impossible” to pinpoint one thing she always borrows from her stylish mama — that’s because she takes “everything.” The teen explained: “I sometimes joke with her that it’s my favorite store.”

Who can blame her for fashion-swapping with her mom? After all, the Oscar-winning actress, 58, has been keeping her high-fashion gowns in storage for her kids. “I’ve saved all the red carpet dresses. I have them all beautifully boxed,” Kidman told W. Magazine in January. “They’re museum pieces.”
In recent months, Sunday Rose’s cool style has made headlines alongside her red carpet appearances with her parents, also including her father, country singer Keith Urban. Last April, Sunday Rose, dressed in a strapless floral gown, joined her entire family for a rare public outing supporting Kidman’s honor at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award Gala.
She’s also stepped into the spotlight following her runway debut in Miu Miu’s Spring/Summer show in October 2024. The big moment saw Sunday Rose strutting in a white dress and knee-high socks. Almost a year later, she returned to Paris Fashion Week to model the fashion house’s recent collection.

Sunday Rose’s runway debut
Reflecting on her up-and-coming modeling career, Sunday Rose told NYLON how her mom influenced her path. “Growing up, I went to my mom’s photo shoots a lot and got to observe, which definitely led to my interest in exploring the modeling world.”

Sunday Rose opened up about what was actually going on in her mind when she took her first steps on the catwalk. “I was actually just thinking about the amount of schoolwork I was going to have to make up! I was really just hoping my teachers would let me have a couple days when I got back.”

Her introduction to the industry was met with divided reviews, especially as the kid of two Hollywood stars, but Sunday Rose said the outside noise hasn’t affected her experience.
“Fashion is so subjective, and everyone has an opinion about everything. The biggest lesson I’ve learned from my experience is to enjoy each moment as it comes, be grateful for the opportunities as I get them, and focus on bettering myself each time I get hired.”
