It’s no surprise that Kidman likes spending quality time with the country music star. She opened up to the magazine about how he has helped her grow as a person.
“I’m working on being more extroverted, but my deep nature is a little introverted and shy. It’s not a fun place to be, but Keith’s helped me. Even getting older, I think, you really start to expand rather than go inward,” she said.
Kidman and Urban, who have been married since 2006, share two daughters — Sunday Rose, 16, and Faith Margaret, 14. The movie star also shares two adult children, Bella and Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
While watching car auctions together may surprise some, Kidman previously shared that Urban is a car enthusiast with Marie Claire Australia for the magazine’s November 2020 issue.
“We’re definitely female-heavy! But as the girls say, ‘The dog’s a boy!’ At times, [Keith] just needs to escape with his guitar. Sometimes I’ll find him in his closet playing guitar. That’s when I know we really need to give him space,” said Kidman.
“Oh, and he Googles cars — I’ll know when he’s stressed ’cause he’s Googling cars. I couldn’t care less what car I’m driving; you can pick me up in any old thing. But Keith and Faith love cars,” she continued.
Urban, however, also likes to find ways to make Kidman happy. The Nine Perfect Strangers actress told PEOPLE in December that the musician still knows how to keep her on her toes.

“I like being asked out, which he still does,” she said. “Seven nights ago we went to dinner in New York. We love Japanese food, but I’m open [to everything]. I like not knowing where he’s going to take me. Surprise me, baby!”
