Nick Cannon reveals his true thoughts about Bre Tiesi’s time as a Selling Sunset cast member
The entertainment mogul spoke exclusively to PEOPLE at a taping of his new Wondery podcast, Nick Cannon @ Night
He and the reality star are parents to 3-year-old son Legendary Love
Nick Cannon has total faith in Bre Tiesi’s ability to handle herself in any situation.
PEOPLE caught up with the 44-year-old multi-talented mogul in Los Angeles at the Monday, July 28, taping of his Nick Cannon @ Night Wondery podcast — an all-new, unfiltered look at love, sex, dating, and relationships — where he gave his take on Tiesi’s time on Netflix’s Selling Sunset.
“She’s built for this,” Cannon tells PEOPLE exclusively. “She’s a rockstar. She’s a superstar. She’s an amazing mom, amazing businesswoman and truly like a boss,”

Cannon also shared that he’s in awe of the way Tiesi handles herself on the show. “I mean when you see her on Selling Sunset and even how she moves on her own, you know, it’s content, [but] it’s not a facade,” he says, adding, “She don’t need [advice], I need to get some advice from her.”
The Masked Singer host and the model, 34, are parents to son Legendary Love, who recently celebrated his third birthday with a Marvel-themed party on June 28.
Since 2011, Cannon has become a father to 12 kids by six different women: Monroe, Moroccan, Golden, Powerful, Zion, Zillion, Zen, Legendary, Onyx, Rise, Beautiful and Halo.
When Tiesi made her Selling Sunset debut as an Oppenheim Group agent during season 6 of the series, her nontraditional lifestyle wasn’t exactly welcomed by all of her costars.
“You know, as I said on the show, I’m perfectly fine in a room with a bunch of bitches that hate me,” Tiesi told PEOPLE in September 2024. “I could not care less. It seems more like a you problem, to be honest.”
Her castmate Chelsea Lazkani was vocal about Tiesi’s relationship with Cannon.

“I find Nick Cannon and Bre’s relationship rather off-putting,” Lazkani, 32, said in the fourth episode of season 6. “Ultimately the way I live my life is very different to her as a Christian, so I don’t know if we will ever be super, super close friends.”
Despite the comments about her status with Cannon, Tiesi maintained that their relationship is solid.

“Love sex and relationships with my twin 🔥 @nickcannon @nickcannonatnight premiering today at 5 PT on YouTube ✨,” she captioned an Instagram Reel of her arriving to one of his podcast tapings, all of which were filmed at Yamashiro Hollywood, a sushi & Cal-Asian restaurant in the Hollywood Hills where Cannon is a part-owner.
The “Feelin’ Freaky” rapper — who began his career as a teen on Nickelodeon’s All That before creating multiple television shows and starring in several movies — also shared why he believes his new Wondery podcast stands out.
“What we do when we’re up at Yamashiro, we talk about love, sex, relationships — we get dressed. It’s a great time, it’s beautiful people,” Cannon, who refers to himself as a “fearless romantic,” tells PEOPLE.
As for his best relationship advice, Cannon says, “Don’t take nobody advice,” because “Every relationship is unique.”
