When it comes to her taste in music, National Hockey League coach Jessica Campbell is not holding back: She’s a certified Swiftie, through and through.
On May 7, the NHL shared a video of a rapid fire Q&A session with Campbell on their official TikTok account, and several of her answers in a row all had to do with Taylor Swift.
After answering questions about her favorite fan experiences (and the fact that comedian Nikki Glaser is in her phone contacts), she really let her love for Swift slip. When she was asked, “What do you listen to to pregame?” she quickly answered, “Taylor Swift.” But she wasn’t done yet.
What was her first question? Taylor Swift. Which celebrity is she dying to meet? Taylor Swift again, of course.
If Campbell reads the comments on this TikTok, she’ll see just how many of her fellow Swifties also love hockey like she does. One fan wrote, “It’s awesome to see Jessica Campbell showing her Swiftie side! Love the crossover between hockey and music.”
Like Swift, Campbell knows a thing or two about blazing a path for women in her chosen field. When she was hired as the assistant coach for the Seattle Kraken in 2024, she also became the first female coach in the NHL, and that’s after she became the first female coach in the AHL, or American Hockey League.
Someone has to get her and Swift together. It seems like they have a lot in common.
