Week 2 of the 2025 NFL preseason is upon us.
An offseason that can sometimes grind to a halt has been put into overdrive as the regular season approaches. Battles for coveted roster spots and starting jobs remain in focus, but time is running out in those competitions already.
The page is quickly being turned with one-third of the preseason in the books.
Some teams will opt to play their starters as a final tune-up before the games really begin to count in September. Others will keep their stars in bubble wrap to ensure their health for the Week 1 kickoff.
There’s no exact science to cracking the preseason code, but teams will have to weigh the decision between rest and rust. With a finite amount of spots in the league, every moment matters this time of year, giving fans more than enough reasons to tune in.
