All funds raised from the telecast will be used to support this new partnership which will serve Los Angeles area music professionals and the broader needs of others impacted in the Los Angeles community. ET spoke with Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason jr. who said “LA is facing a hardship and the people out here in the community, both in the music community and the city of LA have been in a dark time, so it’s important for us as an organization to first lift people up.”
