NBC announced it was picking up its entire #OneChicago lineup of shows for the 2025-2026 TV season. The renewals bring Chicago Med into its 11th season, Chicago Fire its 13th, and Chicago P.D. its 12th. All three shows currently air back-to-back on Wednesday nights on NBC.
The current seasons of Chicago Med, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. have reached nearly 46 million total viewers this season to-date across NBC and Peacock. All three Chicago dramas have seen increased viewing on Peacock vs. last season.

The renewals come at a price, however. Earlier it was announced that both Jake Lockett (Sam Carver) and Daniel Kyri (Darren Ritter) will not return to Chicago Fire as a result of cost-cutting measures. News about other cast departures have not yet been announced.

The season finales for #OneChicago will be broadcast on Wednesday, May 21.
In the Med “…Don’t You Cry” finale, following orders, Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) is tasked with enforcing difficult cuts to hospital personnel. Charles’ (Oliver Platt) daughter is hospitalized after a car accident. A transplant patient makes a life-changing decision.”
In Fire’s “It Had to End This Way” finale, Severide (Taylor Kinney) puts his job on the line to help out one of their own. Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) navigates Natalie’s complicated relationship with her sister. Herrmann (David Eigenberg) prepares to take the Chief test.
No tune-in information has yet to be released for the Chicago P.D. finale.
