On Thursday, April 17, Watts attended the fashion show wearing the coolest, crispest bob that made me crave a visit to any of the Hillstone Restaurant Group’s locales as much as it did a chat with my hairstylist.
Landing right along the actress’s jaw in an impressively blunt line, the Rebekah Forecast-styled bob curved inward to perfectly frame all of Watts’ famous features. Crispest of all was her middle part, which ran right down the center of her crown, allowing her stick-straight locks to fall evenly down the sides of her head.

In the past, Watts has seen Mark DeBolt at Mark Ryan Salon for her color. (Co-owner Ryan Trygstad has handled cut.) Her current shade is a mostly sauvignon blanc-esque blonde that a sommelier would love to hold up to the sun. We had the runway lights working in our favor, so it was easy to see the shade’s cool dimension and twists.
Naomi Watts’ Bob Has Range
The last time we saw Watts, she was out and about in New York City wearing her locks in what can only be described as a poolside bob. Though she rocked the same middle part, her hair was tucked behind her ears. The ends flipped outward and the finish was a little shiny, like she’d just taken a dip in the pool or perfected the wet look.

Watts likes to keep her hair sleek and straight most of the time, but she’s been known to work a couple of waves into her locks or play around with volume. Either way, it’s perfect—and the best inspiration for your own big chop this spring.
