Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber are coming together to ring in a special milestone in their son’s life.
The All’s Fair actress, 56, and the Perfect Couple star, 57, celebrated their son Sasha’s 18th birthday with a series of tributes on social media as well as a special gathering with family and friends.
“He’s 18! Happy birthday again,” Watts wrote over an Instagram Stories photo of their son standing between her and Schreiber following his July 25 birthday. In the image, the trio was all smiles for the special occasion.

The former couple is also mom and dad to daughter Kai, 16.
Another photo shared by The Friend star showed Sasha’s cake, a one-tier design dusted with textured chocolate, which featured two “18” gold candles surrounded by four black-and-white photos of Sasha as a little boy. Each picture had a colorful birthday hat on its head.
Last in Watts’ Instagram Stories was a wide shot of the home where the party was held.
A large, in-ground pool centered in a freshly mowed, spacious backyard set the scene for Sasha’s celebration. An assortment of lush trees provided privacy and a body of water could be seen in the distance.

“Happy birthday sweet, darling @sashapeteschreiber 18 today-and ready for the world! Cannot believe it,” she captioned an Instagram carousel on her feed.
Her cover photo was a single one of Sasha staring directly into the camera.
“Have so loved watching you grow into the kindest, most wonderful young man. Thank you for making me a first time mum,” Watts concluded.
Three other images included the pair together throughout the years, from him being held by his mom as a baby to now. They smiled in every single photo.

Schreiber — who welcomed his third child, a daughter named Hazel Bee, with his wife, Taylor Neisen in August 2023 — also shared a special post for Sasha’s big day.
“Happy Birthday Handsome!” the Ray Donovan actor began, posting a close-up photo of his son to Instagram. “I really think you should reconsider that gap year hanging with me in Southeast Asia…”

Ahead of Sasha’s 18th birthday, the blended family reunited for his high school graduation in June. Watts’ husband, Billy Crudup, joined in for the photos.
Both parents wished their son well in photos shared online.

In March, PEOPLE spoke to Schreiber at the Cirque Du Soleil New York City premiere of Luzia, where he was joined by Sasha.
“It’s strange,” the X-Men actor said of watching his child grow. “I felt a little self-conscious walking into the circus with him because, like, it’s the kind of thing you do with your kid.”
Schreiber added, “He doesn’t feel like my kid anymore. He feels like a man now, so, it’s a whole different thing for us.”
