Nancy Sinatra is a frequent presence on social media often weighing in with her political beliefs.

When one X (formerly Twitter) user posted that her legendary father, Frank Sinatra, would have voted for Donald Trump, she didn’t hold back.

When the troll posted, “He’d vote for trump. Woot woot,” Nancy clapped back on May 5 by saying, “Not a chance. You obviously don’t know my father at all. Do some homework before you post about him.”

The troll wasn’t done, however, and later posted a poorly doctored photo of Frank Sinatra wearing a red “Make America Great Hat,” before his account was temporarily restricted.

Reactions to the exchange were mixed, with some supporting the “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’” singer and others claiming that the “My Way” vocalist would be a Trump supporter.

“Your dad would never vote for the man who’s occupying the White House now. He was a very principled man,” one wrote.

“Thank you. Frank Sinatra would have wanted to punch Donald Trump in the nose. I actually missed having your father around to call Trump a ‘bozo’ and say things like, ‘Yeah, it’s ring-a-ding time at the White House,’” another wrote.

“Why are strangers arguing with Nancy Sinatra about her Father? They had a great relationship, of course she would know him best,” yet another wrote.

However, another insisted, “The Frank Sinatra I knew (but not personally) was not a part of the left democrat party machine.”
