Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews’ newborns are learning how to share early on
After giving birth to their daughters less than a week apart, the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars shared the sweet way that their daughters will share their first names, and the adorable way that their middle names match, too
The pair opened up to PEOPLE earlier in the year, chatting about what it has been like for the two besties to be pregnant at the same time
Mayci Neeley and Mikayla Matthews are raising a new generation of besties!
After documenting their joint pregnancy journey this year, and opening up to PEOPLE in February about what it was like to be pregnant at the same time as each other, the best friends gave birth to two baby girls in July — just days apart.
On July 17, Matthews, 25, and her husband, Jace Terry, welcomed their fourth child to the family, joining daughters Tommie, 3, and Haven, 5½, and son Beckham, 7½. A few days later, Matthews revealed her youngest daughter’s name, Lottie June, to followers in an emotional birthing video.
On July 26, Neeley also announced the arrival of her daughter, Charli May, sharing that the baby had been born three days earlier on July 23. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star and her husband, Jacob Neeley, also share a 4-year-old daughter Harlow, and Mayci is a mom to son Hudson, 9.
Now, the pair is also sharing the sweet way that their two newest additions to the family are connected, beyond just their days-apart birth dates.

In a video posted Matthews’ Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 28, the two participated in a TikTok trend over the song “FUN” by Cortisa Star, writing in text over the clip, “You both can’t name your baby Charlotte,” while the they mimed crying.
The next clip shows the two holding their newborns, dressed in pink, as their names flash in text above them: Lottie and Charli, both of which are nicknames for Charlotte.
In addition to the shared first name, fans were quick to point out the matching middle names in the comments. “Love that their middle names are May and June tooooo ahhhhh ! Literally bestie coded from the womb!!!” one excited commenter wrote.
“Obsessed with them 😍,” Neeley commented on her fellow Mormon Wives star’s post, while her husband also chimed in, writing “❤️ Best friends already.”

In February, Neeley and Matthews, as well as costar Jennifer Affleck, spoke to PEOPLE about the three’s joint pregnancies.
“I’ve never been pregnant with a friend or anyone at the same time. It’s so fun,” Matthews said. “I feel like we’re all so close and it was such a shock. Obviously, we weren’t all planning to get pregnant at the same time, so finding out how close [our due dates] are was really fun.”
“It’s especially great being pregnant with Mayci, who is like my closest, best friend. I’m always texting her like, ‘Are you eating everything in your fridge right now?’ ” Matthews continued. “She’s going through all the same aches and pains and cravings, so it’s fun to relate to her and get to talk to her about it. It’s the same with Jen, too.”
Hulu announced on Thursday, Aug. 28 that season 3 of the unscripted series will be available to stream on Hulu and Disney+ starting Nov. 13, 2025.
