Model twins Sarah and Leah Marie Talabi reportedly didn’t take a lack of invitation as a reason not to show up to the 2025 Met Gala.
The Daily Mail reported that the 25-year-old women were escorted off of the red carpet at the Monday, May 5, event held at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art. In a TikTok shared by the outlet, Sarah and Leah rocked white fur coats as a security guard appeared to be talking to them.
When a reporter asked the twins how they made it inside the event, Leah whispered, “Our team.”
After the event, Sarah and Leah Marie uploaded a joint Instagram post from their night out. In the videos, the twins posed in front of Manhattan’s iconic The Mark Hotel — which is located blocks from the museum. The upload was set to Jay-Z’s “Empire State of Mind.”

The event came three years after Sarah made headlines for speculation she was linked to Timothée Chalamet, with whom she was reportedly spotted at Coachella in 2022.
“I was at Coachella this weekend, as well as the Revolve Festival, and a few other private parties,” Talabi said in a 2022 statement to Page Six. “That was me in the photos; my twin sister, Leah Talabi, was there, too. We were all just hanging out and vibing with the music. It was the greatest night of my life.”

“Everyone is asking me if I was kissing Timothée Chalamet at Coachella, and that is a good question,” she continued. “But a great question would be asking our world leaders why the Earth is now losing 1.2 trillion tons of ice each year due to global warming and why climate crisis reform has been completely ineffective. I encourage you to contact your local representatives and ask them that.”
Chalamet, for his part, was not present at the 2025 Met Gala — but his current girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, wowed on the red carpet solo. While channeling the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, Jenner, 27, posed with creative director of Ferragamo Maximilian Davis as she wore a black-and-gray corset dress with a sheer bodice.
Chalamet, meanwhile, shared snaps via his Instagram Story watching the New York Knicks defeat the Boston Celtics in Game 1 of the NBA’s Eastern Conference Semifinals.
