Are you looking to see if any recalls were issued on your vehicle? If the car isn’t listed below, owners can check USA TODAY’s automotive recall database or search NHTSA’s database for new recalls. The NHTSA website allows you to search for recalls based on your vehicle identification number, or VIN.

Here’s what you need to know about the vehicle recalls published by NHTSA from June 9 to June 15.

Mitsubishi Outlanders recalled for faulty rearview camera

Mitsubishi recalled certain 2022 to 2024 Mitsubishi Outlander SUVs and 2023 to 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV SUVs as they may have a software error that causes the rearview camera image to freeze or not appear.

The software was improperly programmed, the car manufacturer said.

The issue dates back to May 2023, when a similar recall was issued for 89,907 2022-2023 Mitsubishi Outlander and 2023-2023 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV vehicles.

Dealers are to update the software, free of charge. Notification letters are expected to be mailed June 30.

Affected vehicles: 198,940

Harley Davidson recalls motorcycles for sudden tire pressure loss

Harley Davidson recalled certain 2018-2024 Softail motorcycles as they may suddenly lose rear tire pressure.

The mounting tab on the rear shock pre-load adjuster may break on the recalled motorcycles, allowing the rear shock absorber adjuster to damage the rear tire, causing a loss of tire pressure, according to the recall notice.

The recalled bikes include:

  • FLDE: 2018-2019

  • FLHCS: 2018-2024

  • FLHC: 2018-2021

  • FXLRS: 2020-2024

  • FXLRST: 2022-2024

  • FLHCS ANV: 2018, 2023

  • FXRST: 2022

Dealers are to install a new bracket for free and owner notification letters are expected to be mailed June 16.

Affected vehicles: 82,117

Rivian recalls cars for faulty turn signal

Rivian recalled certain 2025 R1S and R1t vehicles as they may have front turn signals may fail to illuminate and flash.

The headlamps have issues stemming from manufacturing by the supplier, according to the recall report.

Rivian is to inspect and replace the front turn signals as necessary for free. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 25.

Affected vehicles: 27,882

Kawasaki recalls motorcycles for loss of engine power

Kawasaki is recalling certain 2024-2025 Ninja ZX-6R motorcycles as they may lose engine power during operation due to seizure of a metal crankshaft bushing.

The bolts holding the crankshaft together in the crank case were over-torqued, resulting in damage, according to the recall report.

Owners are advised not to ride their motorcycles until the repair, which is under development, has been completed.

Kawasaki has not developed a timeline for recall notification.

Affected vehicles: 17,792

Hyundai recalls IONIQ 5s for bad headlight aim

Hyundai recalled certain 2025 IONIQ 5 vehicles as they may have issues with the right side headlight.

The right-side headlight in the recalled vehicles may have an incorrect headlight aim label, which can result in improperly aimed headlights. The die used in the supplier’s molding process was not properly maintained, according to the recall report.

Hyundai will mail owners a corrected label with inspection and installation instructions and owners may bring their vehicle to a dealer for the repair. Notification letters are to be sent Aug. 2.

Affected vehicles: 10,409

Dodge Chargers recalled for faulty exterior amplifier

Chrysler recalled certain 2024-2025 Dodge Chargers as they may have an amplifier that is missing software that stops the car from emitting exterior sound, including pedestrian warnings.

Dealers will inspect and update the amplifier software, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed July 10.
