Miley Cyrus is seriously dedicated.

So much so that the “End of the World” singer rolled around the heavily trafficked Hollywood Walk of Fame to capture footage for the visual album that will accompany her upcoming ninth album, Something Beautiful, which comes out May 30.

“I caught something!” Cyrus said Thursday during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Kimmel, whose show is taped alongside the attraction, replied, “You’re lucky you didn’t get a hypodermic needle in your body.”

That’s when Cyrus explained that she actually had a negative experience.

“So funny you say that, cause I filmed this video in October and by November, at Thanksgiving, I was put in an ICU for a moment, just for a moment,” Cyrus said. “But it was mostly because it was Thanksgiving. There were a lot of people in the ER, people choking on turkey legs or whatever. And my leg began to disintegrate in some way around the kneecap area.”

She said doctors asked if she had done anything to get “such a brutal infection” on her kneecap. The medical professionals were horrified to learn the truth.

“To have a surgeon look at you and say, ‘Yuck’ … They open up cadavers,” Cyrus said. “They see inside the guts of humans, and they’re looking at me, telling me I’m disgusting. And they do brain operations.”

Kimmel said he did wonder if they’d steam cleaned the area.

“None of that,” Cyrus answered, “because with this movie I had a big dream and a small budget — well, I had a pretty good budget, but I spent it all on my clothes. So when it came time to go to the Walk of Fame, they’re like, ‘So what are you going to do? Are you going to rent this thing or what, cause that’s really out of your price range.'”

She told the people making the project with her that they would simply go to the attraction in the middle of the night, which is what they did.

“Have you been to the Walk of Fame in the middle of the night?” Cyrus asked Kimmel with alarm. “I thought it was my last day.”

The host joked, “Well at least you reached your deductible for the year.”

The health issue is one of several that Cyrus has discussed while promoting her new album. The “Flowers” artist said she ruptured an ovarian cyst, which was “extremely excruciating,” while performing on her New Year’s Eve special, ushering in 2023, for NBC, she said on Apple Music’s Zane Lowe Interview.

The “Wrecking Ball” artist noted on the same show that the reason she doesn’t tour as much is medical.

“I have the Reinke’s edema, which is something that is called, it’s abuse of the vocal cords,” she said. “And being 21 and staying up and drinking and smoking and partying after every show does not help. But also in my case, it does not cause it. So my voice always sounded like this — it’s a part of my unique anatomy.”

She also has a large polyp on her vocal cords. All of this makes it “extremely difficult to perform,” Cyrus said, “because it’s like running a marathon with ankle weights on.”

The singer’s ninth album, Something Beautiful, comes out May 30, while the film screens in theaters in a special, one-night-only event June 12.
