Michelle Obama’s IMO wardrobe continues to inspire. The former first lady of the United States has been enjoying an era of fun, experimental, statement-making fashion since she launched her podcast with brother Craig Robinson. In the past few months, she has worn everything from an asymmetrical leather dress from Bottega Veneta, to an orange, Western-inspired lace-up set, to a semi-sheer, ruffled black dress. And the fits just keep on coming.

This Saturday, Obama stopped by the Martha’s Vineyard African American Film Festival, where she recorded an episode of her podcast starring Natasha Rothwell.

For the occasion, Obama was cool in a polished street style look composed of baggy blue mom jeans and bronze staples. Up top, she wore a shiny bronze tank layered under a silky ivory blouse from Ralph Lauren. The airy button-up featured a print of scattered fashion sketches, in beige, white, dark brown, and bronze; and its ample sleeves tied at the wrists like handkerchiefs.

To continue the warm color scheme, the attorney and author cinched her jeans with a hazelnut-brown belt with a Western-inspired silver buckle, and she slipped on some glossy caramel slingback heels.

Chunky silver hoop earrings and a matching cuff completed the look.

Like Obama, the White Lotus star also leaned into the prints in a mixed-pattern dress covered in contrasting blocks of black-and-white polka dots and brown leopard print. She styled the dress with red peep-toe heels and some gold jewelry.
