Michael J. Fox and his wife, actress Tracy Pollan, certainly had a lot to celebrate on Sunday, May 11.
“Best Mother’s Day ever!” Pollan captioned a carousel of Instagram photos from daughter Esmé’s graduation from Duke University.
Images include stunning pics of Esmé with different groups of friends, a shot of the Duke grads throwing their caps in the air and a super sweet photo of Fox, Pollan and their four kids.
In true mom fashion, Pollan is the only person with her eyes closed in the picture but shared it on her social media account anyway. Esmé, who is wearing her cap, gown and a floral lei necklace, smiles with her family surrounding her.
In a 2024 Instagram birthday post for Esmé, her father wrote, “Happy birthday to our renaissance gal. You do it all. Your Dood loves you very much. Who doesn’t? Keep living your best life.” Pollen also posted a birthday tribute for her daughter: “I love absolutely everything about you and I am blessed to be able to explore the world with you! You are my heart.”
Between her beaming college photos and her work as a reporter for the Tampa Bay Times in Florida, it seems as though Esmé is doing just that. In fact, according to her Linkedin site, she recently started an exciting internship as an NBC page.
Esmé Fox is Fox and Pollan’s youngest child. The “Back to the Future” star, 63, and his wife, who tied the knot in 1988, are also parents to son Sam Fox, 36, and twin daughters Aquinnah and Schuyler Fox, 30.

The family seems to be a close one, occasionally posting photos of big accomplishments, like Fox receiving the Presidential Medal of Freedom, or sharing the smaller moments enjoying each other’s company.
