In addition to celebrating Mother’s Day over the weekend, Michael J. Fox and his wife, Tracy Pollan, had another festive reason to rejoice—their youngest daughter graduated from college.
Pollan, 64, shared photos from the graduation ceremony, which reunited all four of her children, on Instagram, writing, “Best Mother’s Day ever! 🎓.”

In the snap, the 23-year-old graduate, Esmé Annabelle, stood in the center, dressed in her cap and gown, surrounded by her siblings, Sam, 35, and twins Aquinnah and Schuyler, 30, in addition to her proud parents.

Fox, who was previously seen using a wheelchair, flashed the camera a smile in his stylish black and brown getup.
Additional photos in the slideshow showed the Duke University (her older sister Aquinnah’s alma mater) graduate and her friends throwing up their caps during the ceremony’s big moment, along with photos with her sorority sisters and friends.
According to Esmé’s student bio from the Duke Website, she studied Global Cultural Studies, Journalism & Media Studies, and Visual Media Studies, noting that she’s “loved writing ever since I could remember, which has recently translated into a passion for journalism.”
She is also the “President of Pancakes for Parkinson’s and Director of All of the Above, a female monologue showcase.”
The same day, the Back to the Future star took to his Instagram with a sweet post praising the family matriarch.
There are plenty of major moments for the family to celebrate in the near future, as Sam announced his engagement to longtime girlfriend, Molly, in 2024, near the old family farm where his parents lived after their wedding in 1988.
