Fashion’s biggest night served as an extravagant date night for the A-list couples in attendance — including Colman Domingo and Raúl Domingo, who put their couple’s style on display at the 2025 Met Gala.
Colman, who is one of this year’s co-chairs, was among the first to arrive at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute on Monday, May 5. The actor and his husband, Raúl, made a splash with their eye-catching ensembles.
The duo exuded the “Tailored for You” dress code from top to bottom — Colman donned a black and white checkered suit coat with contrasting black polka dot scarf tie and pocket square, while his spouse wore a blue, glitter suit and neck scarf. Their looks also kept in line with this year’s theme: Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.

The focus of the Met’s corresponding spring exhibit focuses on Black dandyism and “explores the importance of sartorial style to the formation of Black identities,” according to a press release. The dress code is meant to highlight suiting and menswear, including bold pocket squares, strong silhouettes, canes, top hats and more.
As the night continued, stars like Dua Lipa and boyfriend Callum Turner, Gabrielle Union and husband Dwyane Wade all made their way along the carpet and had Us doing double takes.
