As Meghan Markle celebrated Mother’s Day on Sunday, she took a minute to share a shout out to the little ones who made her a mom, kids Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 3, along with a rare photo starring her kiddos.
In the photo, Markle, 43, is standing barefoot outdoors with her back to the camera as she holds both Archie and Lili in her arms — a move that she described in her caption as “mama mountain.”

In her caption, Markle wished her followers a happy Mother’s Day, adding, “Cheers to juggling it all with joy!”
Then, she addressed her children. “And to these two gems – who still attempt to climb ‘mama mountain’, smother me with kisses, and make every day the most memorable adventure….being your mom is the greatest privilege of my life,” she wrote.
Markle added, “I, too, ‘love you more than all the stars in all the sky, all the raindrops, and all the salt on all the french fries in all the world.'”
Markle’s Mother’s Day post is proof positive that she’s letting what the haters say go in one ear and out the other. Though she’s received some backlash in recent months for what she shares online — not to mention husband Prince Harry‘s recent bombshell BBC interview — she’s doing her thing, and in her own words, she’s doing it with “joy.”
It seemed to be a pretty eventful Mother’s Day weekend for Markle. On Friday, May 9, she and Harry kicked things off by taking in a show on Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour in Los Angeles.
