Duchess Meghan celebrated her 44th birthday yesterday, August 4, and it turns out, so did her longtime friend Abigail Spencer.
The actor starred in Suits with Meghan (then Markle, not Sussex) when the duchess was still acting and living in Toronto, Canada. They have stayed close friends since, and Spencer even appeared in an episode of Meghan’s Netflix series With Love, Meghan, where she made a cheerful garden lunch—flower sprinkles, rosé, and all—for her closest friends.
And yesterday, to mark their birthdays, Abigail shared a few throwback photos of them together during their Suits days. (The show ran from 2011 to 2019, though Meghan exited before the finale, with her last episode having aired in 2018, shortly before she and Prince Harry announced their engagement.)
In two of the photos, Meghan wears a romantic black halter minidress, while Spencer wears a black maxi dress, and the two share hugs and smiles. In another image, Spencer wears a black midi dress with caramel lace-up sandals and a matching bag, while Meghan is casual in a black tank, skinny blue jeans, black pumps, and a long black coat. They both match in big sunglasses.
