Emma Grede shared a few behind-the-scenes snaps from her interview with Meghan Markle.
On Tuesday, June 17, Grede released a wide-ranging interview with the Duchess of Sussex for her Aspire with Emma Grede podcast, where the pair chatted about motherhood, entrepreneurship and life in the public eye.
Following the interview, the SKIMS founding partner, 42, posted several Instagram photos from the interview set, including a few selfies with Meghan, 43.

The Aspire podcast host added a few photos of the two smiling and sitting in their set chairs. She also included a couple of action shots of the two women chatting with each other, as well as a few videos of the final podcast recording.
Grede penned a thoughtful caption and thanked the Duchess for joining her on the podcast. “Building a brand under a global spotlight isn’t for the faint of heart, and @Meghan is doing it with purpose, patience, and power. ✨,” her caption began.
“We sat down for a real conversation about what it takes to start something new when the world already thinks they know your story. From choosing jam as her first product to building a company with intention, Meghan opened up in a way that’s honest, thoughtful, and completely her own.”
“This isn’t just about business. It’s about identity, ambition, and owning your voice, even when the noise gets loud,” she concluded.

During their conversation, she revealed her perspective on the public narrative and how it impacted her relationship with Prince Harry. “If you could rewrite your public narrative from scratch, is there anything that you would do differently?” Grede asked Meghan.
“Yes, I would ask people to tell the truth,” Meghan said.
Additionally, Meghan remarked on how she’s been able to tell her story from her perspective. “I’m just grateful that now, being back on social as well, I have a place where I can share it on my own terms,” she said.
The Duchess of Sussex rejoined Instagram in January, logging back online for the first time in five years. Meghan shuttered her personal social media pages when her courtship with Prince Harry intensified in 2017. The couple also closed their @SussexRoyal Instagram handle when they stepped back from their royal roles in 2020.

In the interview, Meghan addressed the now-viral “baby mama dance” video she posted to Instagram as a throwback on Princess Lilibet’s June 4 birthday.
“That was four years ago,” Meghan said to put the clip into context. “So it’s also a really great reminder that with all the noise or whatever people do, there’s still a whole life — a real, authentic, fun life — that’s happening behind the scenes.”
