Gotta look out for the Stallion’s mane!

Megan Thee Stallion and Angel Reese shared a lighthearted moment on the 2025 Met Gala red carpet on Monday, May 5.

The 30-year-old rapper and the 23-year-old WNBA star posed together on the steps of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art for the annual fashion event, but things took a turn when Megan’s massive red ponytail bumped Reese right in the face.

In a moment captured by photographers and camera crews, Reese turned her head one way while Megan swung her hair the other way, causing the accidental collision.

“Oh s—!” the professional athlete cried out, before Megan quickly turned to check in on her. The pair then shared a laugh on the daffodil-covered carpet over the momentary faux pas.

For fashion’s biggest night, Megan went for classic glamour in a custom Michael Kors Collection optic white lace goddess gown with crystal hand embroidery and an optic white faux fox opera coat with a sequin lining.

She told reporters on the carpet that she was channeling both Josephine Baker and Eartha Kitt with her stunning look.

Reese opted for a nearly all-black look in a two-piece custom Thom Browne long sleeved cropped top piece with white collar details, a black corset piece and a draped black skirt over top. She paired the look with over 107 carats of diamond jewelry by Graff.

At her second Met Gala, Reese served as a Host Committee Member for the event for the first time.

This year’s Met Gala theme was “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and was tied to the Met’s upcoming exhibit of the same name. The Met previously shared that the exhibit will “feature garments, paintings, photographs, and more — all exploring the indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th century through present day.”

Later in the evening, Megan and Reese broke Anna Wintour’s strict no phones policy to deliver some elite backstage content as they sampled the Met’s fine dining appetizer options and rated their bites.

“Hottie Cam in thee MET GALA 👀😏,” Megan captioned the funny clip.

“Trying food at the Met,” Megan said in the clip. There were a variety of offerings including cornbread and caviar, white truffle lobster roll, vegan lox and more.

Megan also took her phone deeper into the event, showing off celebrity pals Serena Williams, Ciara, Cynthia Erivo and more while frequently telling them about breaking the rules.
