Martha Stewart is showing off her masterful selfie skills with a new thirst trap.
On Monday, May 12, the 83-year-old mogul took to Instagram to share a new photo of herself that she took while getting her hair done. In it, she pouts her lips and delivers a sultry expression.
“Getting my hair blown dry today at @gloss by owner Andrea She does a great job,” Stewart captioned the photo, which fans were quick to compliment in the comments section.
One amazed fan asked, “Martha what is your secret? You look fantastic!!!”

Earlier this month, Stewart dropped some knowledge about how to capture the perfect sultry selfie.
“Well, don’t try to take it if you’re looking bad,” she told PEOPLE. “When you’re looking good, that’s when you take a selfie. And if you have good makeup or you just happen to look good that day, take a selfie. Set yourself up with a good light or good light, daylight is oftentimes very, very flattering. And take some pictures.”
Her final advice on the topic: “And then discard the ones that don’t look good. Don’t let anybody see those.”
Of course, the icon is no stranger to posing for sensual photos. Her latest thirst trap comes almost exactly two years after the grand reveal of her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover shoot in May 2023.
Speaking to PEOPLE at the time, she described the opportunity as being “once in a lifetime,” jokingly added that the moment should have happened “30 years ago.”

She also shed light on how she prepared for the revealing photo shoot, which entailed modeling a multitude of swimsuits in the Dominican Republic.
“I did Pilates three, maybe four times a week and did not have a drink — no alcohol whatsoever for two months,” she said. “I also got a spray tan a couple days before the shoot, which isn’t something I usually do.”
Her final verdict on the experience: “I’m very pleased with the pictures, I really am.”

Her new thirst trap also lines up with the unveiling of the latest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit covers. This year, the magazine featured Salma Hayek, Jordan Chiles, Livvy Dunne and Lauren Chan.
Chan opened up about how her cover of the magazine made history, telling PEOPLE, “I’m the first out lesbian on the cover — with her own cover.”
She continued, saying, “And how much that means to me makes that surprise feel so overwhelming. That’s where I feel like the tears of joy and celebration and relief and community come from.”
Meanwhile, Hayek admitted to having some last-minute nerves about the shoot during an appearance on the Today show.
“I said yes and then when it was time to do it, I tried to back out,” she said. “I said, ‘No,’ because the bathing suits never fit me, how am I gonna do this? There’s nothing my size — I always suffer.’ “
She added that the looming photo shoot left her with “a very bad case of imposter syndrome,” which she was thankfully able to overcome.
Her attitude changed when she saw a whale on set: “And all of a sudden I felt, ‘This is magical. This is my land. I’m 58, I’m doing this. My generation, especially Mexican women, we thought we were going to be dismissed at 35. And I got so excited, I felt really free. I put on Bad Bunny, I started dancing, I loved it!”
