Mariska Hargitay, one of the stars of the long-running crime drama Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, enjoyed a special day out with her son August on Saturday, May 10, to attend the New York Knicks game.
The Knicks faced off against the Boston Celtics at Madison Square Garden for Game 3, with the Celtics taking home the win with a score of 115 to 93.

The mother-son duo arrived at the game with big smiles on their faces, posing for a few photos before going into the venue. Hargitay wore a black shirt, a Knicks jacket, and jeans with black fabric around the hem and floral accents, paired with silver heels. Her 18-year-old son wore gray pants, a white shirt, and a zip-up jacket with tan boots.
It’s rare to see Hargitay and her kids, whom she shares with her husband Peter Hermann, attend events together, but they occasionally make appearances. Along with August, Hargitay and Hermann also have another son named Andrew and a daughter named Amaya.
The whole family seems to enjoy sports, as the kids have attended past sports matches with their parents, as well as the Paris Olympics last year.
