Marina Squerciati formally welcomed a new member to the Chicago P.D. family ahead of Season 13.
On Wednesday, Aug. 13, the actress behind Kim Burgess took to Instagram with a photo of three of her co-stars, including newcomer Arienne Mandi.

“ChiHards, welcome Officer Imani!” Squerciati captioned her update. “She’s awesome and fierce and wears cool shoes and we like her a lot.”
For the featured image, Mandi posed while in character and standing next to Benjamin Levy Aguilar (Dante Torres) and Patrick Flueger (Adam Ruzek).

In the comments, Chicago P.D. fans joined Squerciati in welcoming Mandi, with many also expressing excitement to meet her character.

Luckily for fans, they won’t have to wait too much longer to see Officer Imani in action. Season 13 of Chicago P.D. premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 1, at 10 p.m. ET on NBC.
