No, but seriously.
President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio were in attendance at a Cabinet meeting Tuesday where multiple things were discussed such as the president’s “big, beautiful bill,” Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s engagement, and Rubio also cracked some jokes about the upcoming Labor Day holiday.
But those weren’t the only jokes that Rubio was cracking. In fact, he looked like he was being semi-serious to me, because he’s right: getting married on a college football Saturday is a real issue in this country, and Trump needs to do something about it. (i.e. an Executive Order) (RELATED: Minnesota High School Forced To Cancel Football Games Over Federal Law Protecting Ospreys)
“This thing about people getting married on Saturdays during college football season is a scourge, Mr. President. It’s dividing families. I don’t know if we can have an Executive Order on this, it’s insane, but it’s really difficult,” said Rubio. “You know, there’s seven other months of the year people can get married, so I just wanted to say that. It’s very, very difficult.”
But seriously though.

You see, one of the biggest parts of our “American Card” is the passion that we have for college football. If you’re getting married on a Saturday, quite frankly, you’re messing with a tradition of the United States and watering down this nation’s values.
We cannot allow that to happen, and as you see, Marco Rubio (a man I proudly voted for here in Florida) gloriously understands that.
