Mandy Moore is looking up to her own mother of three!
On Sunday, May 11, the This Is Us alum, 41, celebrated her first Mother’s Day as a mom of three by sharing an Instagram post dedicated to her mom, Stacy Moore, who also has three children. The carousel contained four throwback images of Mandy with her mom, one of which also included her grandma, Eileen.
Mandy shares her two sons, Oscar Bennett, 2, and August Harrison, 4, and her daughter, Louise Everett, 7 months, with her husband Taylor Goldsmith.
“Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms and mother figures in our lives, including my own mama who juggled 3 kids effortlessly (HOW!??),” she captioned the post, before reflecting on her personal experience with motherhood.

“Being a mom is the single greatest gift of my life and while you’re never off the clock worrying or stressing or planning, the quiet, unmistakable joy triumphs over everything else,” the actress continued. “I’m endlessly grateful to the moms in my life who model what it takes, lend an ear, make the best suggestions, and generally make me feel less alone on the journey.”
The first picture showed Mandy as a baby, sitting on Stacy’s lap with a big smile on her face. The carousel continued with a snap of the two posing in matching polka dot ensembles against a backdrop of trees, Mandy as a baby smiling for a portrait with her mother and Mandy as a child with her mom and grandma.
Adding additional commentary to the pics, Moore shared a few of them individually to her Instagram Stories. “Also Stacy was a hottie,” she wrote over the first snap. “Go MOM!”
As for the picture with the matching looks, the actress added, “The matching polka dots and my bowl cut. MOM, thanks a lot.”

In February 2023, Moore spoke to PEOPLE about the joys and challenges of raising young children.
“You wake up with endless gratitude every day, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that it is hard work,” she said. “And the lack of sleep is something that is a constant and makes everything feel all the more challenging.”
“But, I think, it’s just having grace for ourselves as parents and as humans and recognizing that each day is going to present its own challenges, but its own immense joy as well,” she added.

The Tangled actress first announced that she was expecting her third baby on her Instagram in May 2024, with a sweet nod to her work in Dan Fogelman’s hit dramaThis Is Us.
Posting a photo of her two sons holding hands, the then big siblings-to-be each wore a white T-shirt, with August’s saying “Big” and Oscar’s reading “Middle.”
“Sometimes life imitates art,” Moore wrote in her caption. “The third in our own Big Three coming soon. Can’t wait for these boys to have a baby sister. 💓💓💓.”
