Luke Hemsworth’s children might be following in their father’s footsteps when it comes to their future careers.
In an exclusive chat with PEOPLE at the New York City premiere of The Terminal List: Dark Wolf on Monday, Aug. 4, the actor, 44, shared which of his four kids has “caught the acting bug” and how he feels about them possibly stepping into Hollywood.
“My oldest daughter’s a really good singer, so she’s not catching the bug. The youngest one says she wants to,” Hemsworth tells PEOPLE. “But I’m trying to get her to read more, write some scripts down and read more books.”
Hemsworth and his wife, Samantha, 44, tied the knot in 2007 and share four children: daughters Holly, 16, Ella, 15, and Harper, 13, and son Alexandre, 12. In 2020, the couple relocated with their family to Australia after living in Los Angeles for seven years.

In an Instagram post shared in May, Hemsworth posted photos of himself returning to the U.S. on vacation as he visited N.Y.C. with his wife and kids.
“New photos in New York of my old kids and my old head,” the father-of-four wrote in the caption.
In one photo shared, Hemsworth took a selfie on the Brooklyn Bridge as one of his daughters shielded her face from the camera in the background. His daughter Harper was also photographed making funny faces as she posed beside the Brooklyn Bridge. A final image showed Hemsworth posing with his daughters outside a fire station in the city.

While attending the The Terminal List: Dark Wolf premiere on Monday, Hemsworth continued discussing his family as he opened up about his desire to work with his brothers, actors Liam and Chris Hemsworth, onscreen again.
“I would love it to do all three of us together in a film,” he told PEOPLE. “Liam and I have had a wonderful experience doing another war film called Land of Bad a few years ago and Chris and I have done, you know, a little bit together in the in the Thor films, but I feel like it should be on the cards … and maybe it is, you know, [I’ll] put it out there.”
Luke stars alongside Taylor Kitsch and Chris Pratt in the Amazon Prime Video prequel series The Terminal List: Dark Wolf, which follows Navy SEAL Ben Shepherd’s journey into becoming a CIA Operative. The series is based on the novel series of the same name by Jack Carr.
The Terminal List: Dark Wolf premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Aug. 27.
