The show, with a working title of Y: Marshals, will join the network’s midseason lineup on Sundays at 9 p.m. and will show Kacey as he joins “an elite unit of U.S. Marshals.”
Per Variety, the official logline of the program is “With the Yellowstone Ranch behind him, Dutton joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals, combining his skills as a cowboy and Navy SEAL to bring range justice to Montana, where he and his teammates must balance family, duty and the high psychological cost that comes with serving as the last line of defense in the region’s war on violence.”
Fans were thrilled by Grimes’ post, which was captioned, “Cowboys dont say goodbye, they say see you later.”
“So hyped for this! Kayce was one of my favorite characters,” wrote one fan as another agreed, commenting that they “can’t wait” for the show.
