Love on the Spectrum stars Abby Romeo and David Isaacman are aligned when it comes to wedding plans.
The couple, who are still waiting to get engaged, appeared on the latest episode of The Viall Files podcast on Thursday, May 8, where they opened up about some of the ideas they have been floating around for their potential nuptials someday.
“We may not know when we’re gonna get married, but I do know a perfect place to get married,” Isaacman shared.
When Viall’s wife Natalie Joy asked “where” that was, he responded, “Where I spend the night three times, but soon to be four times: the San Diego Zoo Safari Park.”
“That’s what we’re gonna do for our fourth year anniversary. Go to the Roar And Snore,” Romeo chimed in. The Roar and Snore is a campground area at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park where adults can camp out and enjoy camp activities, according to the park’s website.
As for their honeymoon plans, Isaacman noted that he and Romeo “might go back to Masai Mara [in Kenya] for our honeymoon.” The pair notably took a trip to the area — which was the inspiration for one of their favorite films The Lion King — in the second season of the Netflix show.
However, at the moment, the couple said they are just enjoying being together.

“We go on fun dates like the aquarium, the zoo and theme parks like Disney and Universal,” Isaacman said. “That’s right. We do bowling, and we even go to the Griffith Park Observatory.”
The couple met on the first season of Love on the Spectrum and have documented their journey of falling in love and the challenges that come with navigating their relationship as individuals with autism.
Last year, Romeo told Rolling Stone that she might be ready to take their relationship to the next level, as she predicted they’d tie the knot “probably in late 2025.” In March, she shared more details of what she envisioned for her future nuptials on The Unplanned Podcast.
“I’ve always, always wanted to be old enough to get married,” Romeo admitted at the time, adding that “marriage means I’m like a princess.”

However, Romeo and Isaacman have hesitated to take the next step as they were worried about how the legal union could impact their daily lifestyle, as Isaacman lives with his sister and Romeo lives with her mom, Christine.
Christine shared on the podcast that she and Isaacman’s mother have discussed how the pair’s marriage “can look like whatever they want it to look like.”
“It doesn’t have to be in the traditional sense of what a neurotypical person would make it look like,” Christine said. “You can have your place, he can still have his place. You can still do what you do until you’re ready to move in together… so that they can make that commitment without having it to upheaval everything else.”
She continued: “I think in today’s world, marriage can look like whatever you want it to look like, as long as your heart’s in the right place.”
Seasons 1 and 2 of Love on the Spectrum are now on Netflix. Season 3 premiered on April 2. On March 4, Netflix confirmed that Romeo and Isaacman will return for the new season.
