Lorrie Morgan is honoring her late husband Keith Whitley.
On Saturday, May 10, the “Something in Red” singer shared a Facebook video compilation of her visiting Keith’s grave with her family, including their son Jesse Keith Whitley.
“Missing Keith Whitley,” Morgan, 65, captioned the video.
The “What Part of No” artist shared what appeared to be a flashback in a series of clips from May 9, 2023 that featured the text “Remember when….”
In the clips, Morgan, her son Jesse, 37, and other family members could be seen relaxing on a picnic blanket in the cemetery, as well as images of Keith’s headstone and what appeared to be Lorrie’s headstone. The family also appeared to be enjoying a picnic while visiting the late musician’s gravesite.
In 1989, Whitley died at age 34 of alcohol poisoning, less than five years after his first entry onto the country chart.
In 2022, Whitley posthumously joined the Country Music Hall of Fame class, where his widow shared some sweet words about him, noting that he “never knew how good he was.”
“He never accepted that he could have a great record deal, or he could have as much as anybody else had in this industry,” she said while accepting the honor. “He would be absolutely blown away if he were here today. He would be saying that surely they got it wrong.”
Jesse also spoke during the ceremony, praising his late father.
“He’s got the best sad songs and love songs ever,” he said. “If you want a history lesson in country music, that’s who you need to listen to.”

In April, Lorrie’s manager announced that she has canceled all concerts and appearances for the following two weeks after her husband Randy White was hospitalized amid his cancer treatment.
“Morgan’s husband of nearly 15 years, Randy White, has been undergoing treatment for mouth cancer,” Morgan’s manager Tony Conway said in a statement at the time. “White has been readmitted to a hospital in Middle Tennessee.”
In April 2024, Morgan announced that the entrepreneur was undergoing treatment for mouth cancer.
“We deeply appreciate the prayers and well wishes, and for continued support and privacy as we focus on Randy’s health and on our family at this time,” she said in a statement at the time.
In December 2024, she shared an update about his health on Facebook, writing that White was “making some progress.”
“We are strong and he is determined,” Morgan wrote. “I love you RanRan.”
Morgan and White tied the knot in a private beachside ceremony in September 2010.
