Welcome to the Met, Lisa.
Tonight, the “Born Again” singer attended her first-ever Met Gala, where she wore an all-black look from Louis Vuitton, along with jewelry from Bulgari.
The ensemble was all blazer, no bottoms, with a lace blazer acting as the center of the ensemble, which Lisa paired with a set of matching crystal underwear (a trend we’ve seen a lot of in the past couple years).
Along the hem of the Blackpink member’s blazer, there were strands of pearls and chains that hung over her underwear, winking to the pearly buttons that dotted her jacket too.
Then, Lisa completed the look with a set of logo-adorned tights and black stilettos, while carrying a black-and-white embroidered top-handle bag. As for beauty, the pop star topped off her look with a blonde updo that was piled on top of her head for extra drama.
Until this year, no members of Blackpink had attended the fashion-filled fundraiser, save for Jennie, who was invited both in 2023 and 2024.
Lisa’s presence this year makes a whole lot of sense though, given that in February alone, she starred in the latest season of The White Lotus—one of the biggest shows on HBO—and also released her solo debut album, Alter Ego, which debuted in the top 10 in the United States, South Korea, France, Germany, and more.
It’s been a big year for the Thai superstar, and despite not making her Met debut until now, she’s been making waves in the industry for quite some time.
In the past, the “Rockstar” singer was named a global ambassador for Celine, as well as the face of MAC Cosmetics, and she’s sat front row at runway shows for Louis Vuitton, Prada, and more. Now, she’s continuing her fashion domination by checking the Met Gala off her bucket list.
