The Freakier Friday press tour is finally coming to a close. But Lindsay Lohan and on-screen mother Jamie Lee Curtis are enjoying one last stop before the film’s Friday release.
On Tuesday, the Freakier Friday costars landed Down Under for the movie’s Australia premiere. For the occasion, Lohan—who has taken the press tour by storm in a series of glittering gowns and stylish referential pieces—departed from her typically colorful red-carpet ensembles and opted instead for a classic little black dress.
The Parent Trap alum looked sophisticated and sleek in a black Saint Laurent dress that featured a simple, column-style silhouette with a cowl-neckline bodice and a slinky, transparent skirt.
The actor accessorized the dark ensemble with a thin diamond necklace, matching dangle earrings, and Aquazzura’s gold Fortune Minaudiere clutch, designed in the shape of a fortune cookie (a nod to the original film’s body-switching plot).
At the premiere, the star posed for solo shots on the purple carpet before joining Curtis, who complemented Lohan’s all-black look in a bright red, long-sleeved dress. The on-screen mother-daughter duo mimicked similar styles earlier in the day for the film’s photo call.
For the daytime event, Lohan slipped on a black button-down shirt that she tucked into belted black shorts. She paired the look with a long matching jacket and strappy sandals.
Curtis once again brought the color in a sky-blue Sergio Hudson midi dress, which she paired with nude pumps. Both stars topped off their looks with sleek sunglasses as they posed for photos amidst the backdrop of the famed Sydney Opera House.
Later, Lohan took to Instagram to reflect on the Australian premiere and the end of the whirlwind press tour.
“Thank you Australia for a beautiful premiere. So grateful for all of the love on this world press tour,” she captioned her post, including a series of images from the evening. “This movie means the world to me and @jamieleecurtis and we are so grateful to share it with you all! In theaters August 8!”
