Linda Hogan Shared a Throwback With Hulk Just Days Before His Death at 71 originally appeared on Parade.
Just four days before Hulk Hogan’s death, his ex-wife Linda Hogan reminisced about their earlier years together.
“The good old days!” Linda captioned a throwback photo from 1996 of her and Hulk via Instagram on July 20.
Hulk (real name Terry Bollea) could be seen wearing his iconic yellow and red costume with the word “Hulkster” written across the front. Linda was looking as stylish as ever in a form-fitting black gown. Her long blonde hair was pulled back from her face in a high ponytail and she wore on black gloves that stretched past her elbows. The photo was taken during one of their many public appearances as a power couple in the wrestling world’s heyday.
On July 24, news broke that Hulk had died at the age of 71, according to TMZ. The publication stated that medics arrived at his Clearwater, Florida, home early that morning and that they were responding to a “cardiac arrest.” The pop culture icon was then transferred to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead. His family later confirmed the news.

Hulk and Linda had a long, turbulent, and very public relationship that included several years on reality television. They officially tied the knot in 1983, and welcomed daughter Brooke Hogan and son Nick Hogan over the next few years. However, the couple’s marriage began to unravel shortly in 2007, after their series, Hogan Knows Best, ended. Linda filed for divorce that same year and she cited irreconcilable differences in the legal documents. In the years following their split, both Hulk and Linda made headlines for controversial interviews and accusations, but the former couple largely stayed out of each other’s lives.
Though Linda didn’t reference Hulk’s health or their past issues in the post, its timing now feels eerily poignant, especially considering the former pair’s rocky relationship over the years.
