Brinkley’s memoir is named after the 1983 hit by her former husband, Billy Joel, who was inspired to write the song about the supermodel.
The chat between the two legendary supermodels was staged by Live Talks Los Angeles on May 5.
While on her book tour Brinkley has received support from some of her other celebrity friends, including Sharon Stone. She shared a photo of the iconic actress reading a People magazine with Brinkley on the cover, along with the caption on her Instagram account, “I’m in good hands! 🩷.”
That prompted a comment from another celeb, actress Beverly D’Angelo. “Christie what I love the most about your memoir is how you authentic voice full of love and optimism shines through. You always have taken the high road and it’s always been an honor to walk a bit of your journey with you when our paths cross ! Well done sister ! Looking forward to the next chapters!” she wrote.
