Legendary ‘70s Rock Act Will Get Their Flowers Before Their Rock Hall Induction With This New Project originally appeared on Parade.

Bad Company is set for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Nov. 8 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, but the legendary ‘70s hard rock band fronted by vocalist Paul Rodgers will receive their flowers a few weeks earlier via a new project.

Can’t Get Enough: A Tribute to Bad Company, an all-star album featuring current artists covering the band’s classic songs is set to drop on Oct. 24 via Primary Wave Music.

Though Bad Company was primarily known as a rock band, the list of acts on the tribute album runs from rock and metal to country and Americana with Hardy, The Pretty Reckless, Joe Elliott and Phil Collen from Def Leppard, Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, Charley Crockett, Halestorm and more offering their versions of the band’s classic songs.

Making the project even sweeter and more legitimate is that Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke appear on the album. (Bad Company guitarist Mick Ralphs died on June 23 at the age of 81, while bassist Boz Burrell died in 2006 at the age of 60.)

“I’ve loved Bad Company since the very beginning, a phenomenal combination of two of my favourite bands, Free & Mott the Hoople, what’s not to love?!” Joe Elliott said in a statement.  “What a privilege it is for myself & Phil to cover one of my favourite Bad Co. songs WITH Paul & Simon! Wow!”

Current country star Hardy said he’s also been a longtime fan. “There’s a short list of bands my dad played for me as a young boy that shaped my love for rock n’ roll, and Bad Company is on that list. It’s a very cool and surreal moment to be part of this project,” he said.

Guns N’ Roses guitar slinger Slash also praised the band. “Bad Company was the background music of an important period in my youth. They were such a great band, and a huge influence on me then and still are today,” he said.

The first single from the album, the Struts take of “Rock ‘n’ Roll Fantasy,” is out now and fans are praising the cover in the comments on YouTube.

“Great Tribute Guys , Paul Rodgers & Bad Company would be proud..,” wrote one fan.

“Paul Rodgers was considered one of the best vocalist of his time. Bad Co was flawless, every song was amazing. The Struts and Luke have done an excellent tribute,” added another.

“One of my favorite songs by Bad Company sounds like silken heaven from The Struts! Absolutely fantastic!” wrote a third.
