Lea Michele Reveals What ‘Glee’ Songs She Still Loves to Listen to Today (Exclusive) originally appeared on Parade.
Glee may have wrapped in March 2015, but that doesn’t mean Lea Michele has stopped listening to the show’s music.
“I love listening to Glee, the songs that I didn’t do,” Michele, who starred on the hit comedy, tells Parade while discussing her partnership with Lysol and their SOMO campaign. “So I’ll listen to other versions, the other kids and the songs that they did. I really love listening to that.”
“Darren [Criss’] ‘Teenage Dream,’ like, I love listening to, or, Jonathan [Groff] when he did ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ Oh so good! I’ll listen to that.”

Michele, 38, played high school choir star Rachel Berry in the Ryan Murphy series for six seasons and belted out mega anthems like “Make You Feel My Love,” “Defying Gravity”and “Don’t Rain on My Parade” for 121 episodes.
Although she admits she doesn’t listen to her own performances from her time on the show, she does love a few of the themed mashups.
“The “Thriller”/”Heads Will Roll” mashup from our Halloween episode was incredible,” the Broadway star adds. “That was really good.”
The mom to Ever Leo, 4, and Emery Sol, 11 mos., will head back to the stage when she stars in Chess later this fall, but for now, her sights are already on school and keeping her family healthy for the year ahead with Lysol.
“I have been a lifelong Lysol fan for many, many, many years,” Michele says. “The Lysol on the go disinfectant wipes as well as the big Lysol wipes are in my home and in my purse at all times. They were literally in my bag when I found out that I would be partnering up with Lysol and I screenshot a photo and was like, ‘Well, in case you need to see, I’m a huge fan, truly.'”
“But I’m very honored to be partnering up with Lysol for their Here for Healthy Schools Initiative, just teaching parents ways to help prevent the spread of germs in your home, gearing up for the school year and remembering to not only stock up on the standard back to school products, but also to get your Lysol disinfectant wipes and disinfectant spray. To make sure that we can decrease the spread of germs as much as possible, to help our kids stay healthy, to be present for all of the exciting moments during the school year.”
