Celebrity stylist Law Roach has shared a new update on what to expect from Zendaya and Tom Holland’s upcoming wedding.
Speaking to Complex on Thursday, May 8, Roach, 46, was asked whether he had thought about what Zendaya’s wedding dress will ultimately look like.
“No,” Roach, who is the man behind the actress’ most iconic red carpet looks responded. “Zendaya is working on like six movies. I’m thinking about the press tours.”
Roach did, however, reveal that the gown will most likely be kept under wraps and only guests with a high level of discretion are likely to be invited to the Spider-Man stars’ nuptials.

“It will probably be a wedding dress that nobody will ever see, to be quite honest, because she and Tom are super private about their relationship — well not their relationship,” he said. “They [just] try to be as private as possible so there won’t be a Vogue spread; there won’t be pictures of the wedding. The people that she will invite will be really respectful of their privacy. So it will be a really beautiful dress that no one gets to see.”
Zendaya and Holland, both 28, got engaged in January 2025 after several years of dating. The actress was spotted wearing a diamond ring on her left hand at the 2025 Golden Globes. After being asked by a reporter whether she was engaged, Zendaya “smiled coyly and shrugged her shoulders mysteriously,” the Los Angeles Times reported on January 5. Holland did not attend the awards show.
“Tom figured the holidays were the best time to propose in a very low-key way,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly shortly after news of Holland and Zendaya’s engagement broke on January 6. “She didn’t want anything over the top.”
The Euphoria star and the England native met while filming Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016. In July 2017, Us Weekly confirmed that the actors were officially dating. Five months later, Us reported that Zendaya introduced the Cherry actor to her family.
“Tom has met Zendaya’s family and they love him,” a source shared with Us at the time. “They are still seeing each other, it’s been about a year.”

On January 10, Holland’s father revealed the actor asked Zendaya’s father for permission to propose.
“The big news this week is a good example of just such an opportunity for me — are they/aren’t they engaged? Zendaya wearing a ring and Tom nowhere to be seen adding to the intrigue,” Dominic Holland, 57, wrote in a January 10 blog post via his Patreon. “The engagement has now been confirmed and why I am writing about it here but without adding anything new and juicy like a date, venue, guest list …”
“And this I can demonstrate now by contrasting the different approaches of father and son to proposing marriage. Tom, as you know by now was very incredibly well prepared,” Dominic continued. “He had purchased a ring. He had spoken with her father and gained permission to propose to his daughter.”
