When Lauren Sánchez Bezos married Jeff Bezos in Venice last month, the bride—wearing Dolce & Gabbana—went perhaps more demure than many were expecting.
As she continues to enjoy her honeymoon phase alongside her husband, when it comes to her look in Saint-Tropez on July 23, demure is, well, not the right word to describe it. Sánchez Bezos’s Roberto Cavalli Leopard Velvet Lace Slip Dress was fully sheer, complete with an exposed back and an asymmetrical skirt. She styled the spaghetti-strap dress with gold statement earrings, an updo, and black open-toed heels and a matching purse in a va va voom, all eyes on me moment.

In truth, all eyes have been on Sánchez Bezos for most of the summer—long before her date night to dinner in Saint-Tropez on Wednesday. For his part, Amazon founder Bezos wore a blue velvet shirt and gray skinny pants, which he accentuated with green loafers; the couple looks as in love as ever one month after their Italian wedding drew A-listers like Oprah Winfrey, Kim Kardashian, Sydney Sweeney, Kylie Jenner, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Brady, Orlando Bloom, and more.
For the occasion on June 27, Sánchez Bezos wore a bespoke corseted mermaid-style dress by Dolce & Gabbana that featured hand-appliquéd lace, according to an interview the bride did with Vogue released on her wedding day. Sánchez Bezos said her gown was based on the high-neck lace wedding dress that actress Sophia Loren wore in the 1958 film Houseboat, telling the publication, “It went from, ‘I want a simple, sexy modern dress’ to ‘I want something that evokes a moment,’ and where I am right now. I am a different person than I was five years ago.”

“I researched pictures of brides in the 1950s,” she said. “I wanted to reflect back, and I saw Sophia Loren and her hands were like this [imitating a prayer position], and she was in high lace, up to the neck, and I said, ‘That’s it. That’s the dress.’”
As evidenced by her July 23 fully sheer look, Sánchez Bezos isn’t known for a high-neck look—she told Vogue that her wedding dress was the first formal dress she’s ever worn that is so covered up across the chest. “It is a departure from what people expect, from what I expect—but it’s very much me,” she told Vogue of her wedding dress.
“I’m very happy,” she told the outlet. “More than the dress, I’m happy that I’m getting married and I get to spend my life with my best friend, someone who sees me, someone who adores me, someone who I adore. I am the luckiest woman on the planet.”

Since their wedding day nearly one month ago, Sánchez Bezos and Bezos have continued to enjoy jaunting across Europe, though they did briefly dip back on U.S. soil to attend the Allen & Company Sun Valley Conference—which Page Six called “summer camp for billionaires.”

Just this past Sunday, on July 20 Sánchez Bezos wore Roberto Cavalli again, that time to the Hotel de Cap-Eden-Roc in Cap d’Antibes—and also featuring an open back. Also intriguingly, she carried a Dior mini bag worth over $15,000 after also being spotted of late with an “extremely rare” (to quote Page Six) version of Hermès’ iconic Kelly purse—the Kelly Midas—which is worth $250,000.
Their date night on July 23 was at Cherry, an Italian restaurant that overlooks the ocean, according to The Daily Mail.
