Lainey Wilson is back at the ACM Awards with her country glam.
On May 8, the “Heart Like a Truck” singer stepped out dressed to impress in her signature bell-bottoms.
Wilson, 32, hit the red carpet in a unique take on a suit for the event. The country singer wore all black and paired her flares with a matching black lace jacket with floral appliqués, cutouts and a carpet grazing train.
The jacket was filled with several intricate details, including a cleavage-baring neckline, small stomach cutouts, glittering black beads and pearl colored accent beads located at the sleeves and hem of the garment.

Wilson — who brought fiancé Duck Hodges as her plus one for the evening — completed the look with black stone necklaces, several rings that included her engagement ring and a large black cowgirl hat to complete the look.

This year, the Yellowstone star is up for seven awards including female artist of the year, album of the year, song of the year, visual media of the year, artist-songwriter of the year and entertainer of the year. She will also take the stage as a presenter and performer.
The 2025 ACM Awards is hosted by Reba McEntire and will stream live on Prime Video from Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

Wilson is a familiar face at the ACM Awards and has pulled off plenty of looks on the show’s red carpet. In 2024, when she nabbed the title for entertainer of the year, she made a red-hot entrance in a fiery Area suit with flared trousers and blinged-out the already bold look in Yellow Rose by Kendra Scott jewelry.
For other past ACMs, she’s worn everything from metallics to rock-inspired style, but every time she’s always channeled her bell-bottoms-and-hat uniform.
This year’s show also marks Wilson’s first since she revealed her engagement to former NFL player and current realtor Hodges in February. When revealing details of the milestone in a TikTok video shared by WTVF-TV, Wilson revealed how she had a slight say in Hodges’ ring buying.

“It just felt that natural, and as a joke, I had texted him some big rings, being like, ‘This is what I like.’ He was like, ‘Oh Lord. I better start saving now,’ ” she recalled.
“We’ve been together for four years. What he did is he went in and designed it and kind of put some of those rings together that I sent him. So I’d have said yes, if it was a tiny little thing. But he messed up.”

She’s also teased whether or not she’d wearing her favorite pants on her wedding day. “I’m going to wear a dress,” she said. “I hadn’t done the whole dress shopping. We haven’t even picked a date or anything like that. We got some time, but I figured, you know what? I hadn’t worn a dress for him yet, and I guess that would be the day to do it.”

Most recently, Wilson attended the 2025 Grammys in two different looks, the first being a classically tailored black suit that she wore on the carpet.
She switched up her aesthetic for performance with Jacob Collier in tribute to the late Quincy Jones in a gold sequin suit made by designer Gunnar Deatherage and styled by Karla Welch.

The statement piece was, of course, Wilson’s jacket, which was a repurposed blazer spruced up with black sequin embellishments hundreds of yards of gold chain that brought the weight of the outerwear to five pounds.
