Kylie Jenner is giving new meaning to the age-old phrase “beauty is pain.”
Following a fun night out at the 2025 Met Gala, the reality star had a bit of a fashion emergency.
The 27-year-old realized her feet were stuck inside of her sky-high, black stilettos while she was attempting to take them off.
Jenner documented the footwear faux pas in a video that she later shared with her Instagram followers.
The short clip follows the beauty mogul as she preps for the Met Gala and gets all glammed up. For the “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” theme, she rocked a black-and-gray halter dress with a corseted waist and high slit, pairing the sexy frock with sheer gloves and a slicked back hairstyle.
Toward the end of the video, Jenner appears to be sitting on the floor with the camera pointed at her tired tootsies.
“Does it hurt?” someone in the background asks.
“Max told me to tape my feet into the shoe, and now my feet are stuck in the shoes,” Jenner explains, appearing to refer to Ferragamo Creative Director Maximilian Davis, the brains behind her Met Gala look.
“Oh my God, that’s wild,” someone says in the background while spraying liquid on Jenner’s feet to loosen them from the grip of the shoes.
Suddenly, they start to gain traction and begin to peel Jenner’s foot out of one of the shoes slowly but surely.
The reality star’s fans got a kick out of the moment and took to the comments section to share their reactions.
“I just really need to know what tape you used because it works,” one person commented. Jenner replied, saying it was “wig tape.”
“That tape ain’t ready to clock out yet,” one mused.
Another shared the following reaction: “You looked amazing! Do we need to stay tune(d) for the next season of the Kardashian(s) to see if you got the shoe off?”
Some Instagram users even learned something new after watching the hilarious moment.
“Gluing these types of shoes is genius,” one commented.
Overall, Jenner’s followers enjoyed watching her tackle the stressful moment with humor.
“Kylie I admire your ability to handle situations with such calm and elegance,” one wrote.
