Fans of the Sex and the City sequel have been sharing their sadness about the “end of an era” on social media, and now, Kristin Davis has weighed in with a sweet message about her time on the show.
Kristin Davis Opens Up About The End Of ‘And Just Like That’
Kristin Davis took to Instagram on Thursday, August 14, with a series of 19 photos from And Just Like That, plus one short video showing her name on her dressing room door.
While Davis’ character, Charlotte York, was featured in most of the photos, the series showed several defining moments from the past three seasons. The carousel also highlighted something that this HBO Max series and the original, Sex and the City, were known for. Asidefrom the incredible friendship this group of women shared, there was the fashion. From Carrie Bradshaw’s (Sarah Jessica Parker) shoes to Charlotte’s ultra-feminine preppy style, there is nothing like it, and we can see just that in the photos Davis shared.

In the caption, she wrote, “It’s hard to put into words what this journey has meant to me. Filming And Just Like That has been one of the great joys of my life. To step back into Charlotte’s shoes, to tell new stories with a cast I love, and to share them with all of you has been a gift.”
She continued, “I would be thrilled to work with these writers , actors and our stellar crew forever . And in my mind Charlotte will be living her life in her own glorious way whether we get to watch her or not. Thanks to all who came along for the ride 💞💞💞💞💞”

Mario Cantone, who played Anthony Marentino on And Just Like That, was among the first to comment. He wrote, “My Char…❤️❤️ I love you and will miss all of this with you.”
A fan of Davis and the show wrote, “Kristin thank you SO much for all these amazing years as charlotte. it’s heartbreaking to see the series coming to an end and having to say goodbye to these amazing characters that have been part of our lives for so long now ❤️ we’re gonna miss you but charlotte will NEVER be forgotten!!!!!”
