Kiefer Sutherland may be best known for his roles on TV shows like 24 and dozens of films, including The Lost Boys, Young Guns and Stand by Me, but recently he took on a different role—interviewer.
Legendary Elton John lyricist Bernie Taupin took to Instagram on Thursday, May 1 to thank the actor for hosting a Q&A with him at the kickoff of the Soho Summit in Cotswolds, England.

“The reunited. With my dear old friend @kiefersutherland at the Soho Summit in the heart of the Cotswolds, U.K. Kiefer was kind enough to fly in and conduct my Q&A to kick off this event. The weather was beyond beautiful and the setting is stunning. Thanks for inviting me @sohohouse and all gratitude for your hospitality. Photos by @heathertaupin.”
The post also included a trio of photos of the pair shot by Taupin’s wife, Heather, including a few shots of the duo wearing short sleeves exposing their multiple tattoos.
Fans were impressed by the post and pairing.
“He is such a great actor and producer. I was glued to 24 for more than 24 hours!
Love the Cotswolds too,” one fan posted.
“Tattoo sleeves weather. (You both look great, but I want the fabric on those pillows 😂 Can you find out where they came from, please!),” another wrote.
“Great photos and I hope we can watch the interview at some point! Enjoy your time in the UK 🇬🇧!!” another person posted.
Another added, “Now THAT is a double act I wish I could have seen.”
