Khloe Kardashian Sends Clear 4-Word Message to Fans Who Shame Her for Having a Nanny originally appeared on Parade.
When it comes to being shamed over one specific parenting choice, Khloé Kardashian has had enough. The mother of two had some stern words for critics who have been bashing her, and mothers like her, who hire professionals to help care for her children.
According to The Kardashians star, enough is enough and she’s ready to fight back against the people who are giving her a hard time for relying on a nanny, giving them an earful on the latest episode of her podcast.

Koko clapped back at her critics during an episode of Khloé in Wonder Land, saying she couldn’t understand the hate and “shame” women face when they hire help.
“People that talk shit about nannies, we all have help in some capacity,” she began. “You can call it daycare, you can call it a school, you can call it in-laws, your mother, sister, whoever. A babysitter.”

But she didn’t stop there, Kardashian—who shares two kids with her ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson—said that people specifically seemed to have a hang up with the word nanny.
“For some reason, the term babysitter people find way less offensive than a nanny. I don’t know why. We’re all blessed, and it takes a village to raise a family,” the reality star continued. “I do not understand the shame that people give to other people for having people help them with their kids. There is no shame in that.”
It’s obvious why Kardashian may need a little extra help with the kids. The Good American co-founder is a busy businesswoman. Not only does she help run a successful clothing brand, but she also stars in a reality show alongside of her famous sisters, hosts her own podcast, and is a devoted friend, mother, aunt, and daughter.
Hopefully by speaking out about how much we all rely on a village—no matter what we call that village—will help Kardashian to erase some of the stigma surrounding it.
