“Shark Tank” investor Kevin O’Leary on Monday downplayed emotions surrounding files related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
“The reason why people care about this a lot, not just because of the very real Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking and the crimes that were committed, it is the fact that Donald Trump himself spent years — him and his allies promised their base, ‘We are going to deliver the Epstein client list that’s going to take down all of your Democratic enemies,’” journalist Ahmed Baba told CNN’s Abby Phillip in a clip highlighted by Mediaite.
“Bring it,” O’Leary cut in. “Bring it.”
“Well, yes, bring it, Donald. Please, Donald, bring it,” Baba retorted.
“Nobody gives a poop,” the “Shark Tank” investor responded.
In the last few weeks, the Trump administration has faced backlash over its handling of files linked to the Epstein case.
Right-wing influencers who had long pushed conspiracy theories about Epstein turned their fury toward the Trump administration, especially Attorney General Pam Bondi, due to a recent Justice Department memo that dispelled many of the theories.
The Epstein saga has also continued to cause chaos in the House, with Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) blocking votes on the matter until September after Democrats threatened to force votes about the files, which would put House Republicans in a politically challenging spot.
“Donald Trump and House Republicans have the power to release the Epstein files today. They refuse to do it. What are they hiding from the American people?” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) wrote Monday in a post on the social platform X.
