Kelly Ripa just injected a different kind of spice into her love life with Mark Consuelos, after the latter made a joke about his wife’s Botox procedures on Live With Kelly and Mark.
After the couple welcomed Criminal Minds actor Adam Rodriguez to the talk show for an interview, Consuelos inquired about the star’s reported struggle with teeth grinding, to which Ripa offered a surprising solution.
“I’m going to fix this for you. I’m going to fix your problem,” Ripa said. “Botox in your jaw. Yes. That will stop you from grinding your teeth, you will not be able to grind.”
Consuelos quipped back, “You won’t be able to smile or do anything else,” before contorting his face into a limp expression.
“I smile and I chew all the time!” Ripa stressed, though Consuelos added, “Yeah, but the first couple of days,” before making the face once again.
The Live audience laughed at the exchange, though Ripa clapped back by playfully warning her husband about potential consequences.
“Just remember this statement tonight when you start rubbing up against me,” Ripa said. “I don’t want to have a debate like, ‘What’s wrong? What’s the matter? Why are you ignoring me?'”
After Ripa joked, “I’ll be like, ‘My jaw can’t move,'” Consuelos threw the show to a commercial, telling the audience, “Alright, we need to take a break!” as he laughed.
Ripa and Consuelos have long established themselves as television’s spiciest couple on morning TV, with past exchanges including sensual on-air foot massages, Consuelos stripping down to a tight spandex suit for a wrestling segment, and Consuelos’ admission that his crotch often sets off airport security sensors.

Sometimes, the fates even conspire to bring revealing moments out of the cohosting couple — even when they don’t realize it in the moment. Like, for example, that time Consuelos realized midway through the program that his pants zipper had been down the entire time.
“My zipper’s down!” a shocked Consuelos exclaimed. “Did anybody notice that?” Ripa asked while Consuelos confirmed that, in fact, he was the only person to see.
