Kelly Osbourne is looking back on happier times amid the death of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
On Saturday, July 26, just days after the legendary rocker’s death, Kelly, 40, re-shared a heartwarming clip from Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour, the A&E reality series Ozzy starred in alongside his son, Jack Osbourne. The video captured a sweet father-daughter moment between Kelly and Ozzy on a road trip.
“One of the best Ozzy moments ever!” Kelly wrote over the video, which showed her welcoming her dad into their motorhome.
“Morning, I got this song in my head I have to play it for you,” she told him before playing “Paradise” by George Ezra. Kelly began to serenade her father with the two sharing a joyful dance in the RV’s cramped quarters.
“I love you,” Kelly said.
“I love you more,” Ozzy replied.
The tender moment is likely just one of many Kelly is reflecting on following her father’s death. The Osbourne family confirmed the music icon had passed on Tuesday, July 22, at the age of 76.
“It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning,” the family said in a statement. “He was with his family and surrounded by love. We ask everyone to respect our family privacy at this time.”

Kelly broke her silence two days later in a post shared to her Instagram Stories that read simply: “I feel unhappy I am so sad. I lost the best friend I ever had,” referencing the hit Black Sabbath track, “Changes.”
Just one week prior to Ozzy’s death, Kelly had addressed online criticism surrounding her father’s health, after a fan accused her of not understanding the progression of Parkinson’s disease—something Ozzy had battling since 2003.

“This is the s–t I wake up to,” she wrote alongside a screenshot of the message. “Wtf is wrong with people?”
“Believe me I fully understand how this works. Your message is incredibly rude,” she continued. “So firstly I want to tell you to go f–k yourself! He is not in stage 5!! That is not the way his kind of Parkinson’s works.”
Ozzy first opened up about his diagnosis in 2020 during an appearance on Good Morning America, calling the journey “terribly challenging for us all.”
“I did my last show New Year’s Eve at The Forum,’ he recalled. “Then I had a bad fall. I had to have surgery on my neck, which screwed all my nerves.”
Despite his health setbacks, the Prince of Darkness continued doing what he loved nearly up until the day he died, performing in what would be his final performance—a reunion with Black Sabbath—in his hometown of Birmingham, England, on July 5.
The show drew over 45,000 fans to Villa Park stadium, with an additional 5.8 million viewers tuning in online. According to Billboard, the concert raised more than $190 million, with proceeds being donated equally to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, Acorn Children’s Hospice, and Cure Parkinson’s, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for the disease Ozzy had lived with for more than two decades.
In addition to Kelly and Jack, 39, Ozzy is survived by daughter Aimee, whom he also shared with wife Sharon Osbourne, as well as his elder children, Louis and Jessica, and son Elliot, whom he adopted during his marriage to Thelma Riley, and his 10 grandchildren.
