Kelly Clarkson and Amy Grant are teaming up for a new project, and it’s nothing like their fans will be expecting.
Kelly Clarkson announced her exciting new project on an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Her guests were her music director Jason Halbert, his wife Rhonda, and Amy Grant, with whom Clarkson is partnering on this new venture.
Clarkson and Grant are voicing parts in Caretaker, a new thriller that was written by Halbert and his wife under the pseudonym R.J. Halbert. They discussed the project on the episode, and Grant sang Home (Lyana’s Song), which was written for Caretaker.
According to Good Reads the Caretaker summary is, “A house like this deserves the perfect family. But now it has found them it will never let them go.

Along with Clarkson and Grant, Henry Ian Cusick (Lost, Scandal), Erick Avari (Home Alone 4, The Mummy), Brandon Engman (Belle, Empathy, Inc.), Charles Esten (Nashville, Jessie), Hayley Orrantia (The Goldbergs, Christmas is Cancelled), Michael Shanks (Together, Saving Hope), and Josh Robert Thompson (Family Guy, American Dad) also lent their voices to the project.
Halbert has been Clarkson’s music director for over 20 years and won a Grammy for his work on her album Stronger.
Clarkson said, “The most nervous he has probably ever seen me in the studio is when I did my part.”
